This place is homophobic,  my husband and i went here for a quick dinner and was treated terrible. While talking in front of us to her friends seated at the counter the waitress/cook said someone acted like a f*g. My husband quickly pointed out that you can not talk like that in 2012. She said i didn't say it to you. No apology!!!!  We quickly eat told the person checking us out what had just happened. the Waitress/ cook started screaming i didn't call you that, then told us to pay for our sh*t get out !!! That place is lucky we paid our bill......

Here's a great drink recipe I found with my Android app Liquor Run Mobile. Name: Grasshopper - 2. Ingredients: 3/4 oz. Green Creme de Menthe ~ 3/4 oz. White Creme de Cacao ~ 1 oz. Half & Half. Instructions: Mix ingredients with ice in a shaker and strain into glass.

A sad day for race fans

I was sitting in front of the computer while listening to the pats game on Sirius. down stairs the tivo was recording the Indy world championship live from Las Vegas NV. I tried to avoid any websites that would have the results as i was planning on watching it when the game was over.

Clicked on the RSS of MSNBC on my Firefox. and there it was INDYCAR driver Dan Weldon dead in car wreck at las vegas speed way.

Brian was sitting on the couch and i let out a "omg he is dead, omg omg" clicked on the article and there was only one picture that of his car on fire in the "safer fencing"

Many of you may not know I am a huge INDYCAR fan and I have watched ever Indy 500 my entire life only missing the one in 2000.

This year I am full-filling a boyhood dream and attending the 2012 Indy 500, also I will be VIP at the grand Prix of Baltimore labor day weekend 2012.

I have watched highlights and every race on ABC this year and every race the last 3 years prior on VS.

the passing of Dan Weldon is very sad thing, what my lasting memory of Dan will be of this years 500. the was he won was legendary. and he was crying while drinking the milk and kissed his wife and new baby boy. In that moment you could see the raw emotions and sheer exasperation of winning " the granddaddy of them all" on the biggest stage while the world is watching!!

the ironic thing about his death has to be that he was the driver testing ( on off weeks) "the future car" body it will replace this one in 2012 season and beyond. there is a quote to an indy paper where he says this"sometimes i feel like a crash test dummies"

Side note if Dan had won the race he would have won 2.5 million $ and a fan at home would have won 2.5 million $ also.

Strange days are here again

When I meant mama wendy . I knew that we know each other for rest of our lives. I got some sad news today. She has a mass in her chest. 6 weeks from now she gotta take xrays again To see if it's growing I am beside myself With sadness. She's a mother to a 5 year old daughter named hope. Whose father has already died.
That means of hope maybe an orphan by the Time she is 6.
We have known each other For 13 years. She is the strongest person I know. She has been beat down. Starved. Stabbed and mutilated. She lost 200 pounds. And had the baby no 1 ever thought she would. She's a survivor Ok homelessness 6 times it is an honor and privilege to call her my mother. I feel I have grown so much since I known her. and  brought so much courage to my life. she is permanently disabled. has only 10 percent hearing in 1 ear.
We have had our differences
I am not agreed with all her moves to other states...... but ultimately I thought we would live near each other again!!!!

The turning point. in my life

i have been better. i just have gone through some shit in the last few hours like 48 that was changed my life for ever. Had a dream job (a semi-truck driver) then realized I could not preform an essential part of the job, sleep in the back of the truck while it is moving.
my husband and i were going to do it together he is still out with his trainer!! he is some where between here (MD) and st Louis mo where he met his trainer. so frustrated and just grr !!!!
